Product Description
This flexible plastic tubing cutter is a semi-automatic, table-top device designed for precision and speed in the production environment. The actuating button found on the adjustable slide block makes this product easy to operate and ergonomically friendly. This precision crafted cleanroom product has years of proven operational reliability.
The CRD105 Tubing Cutter Extension is a 24'' extension unit used in conjunction with the CRD100 Tubing Cutter. The unit has a certified precision scale for accurate cuts. The extension bolts securely onto the Tubing Cutter, and precisely aligns the mating scales.
The flexible tubing spreader performs a controlled internal stretching operation in the end of most plastic and rubber tubing material. The foot pedal and powerful air cylinder will increase the size of your tubing, allowing ease of assembly yet a secure fit as the tubing rebounds to its original size.
The heated tube spreader allows barbed fittings to be installed in stiffer tubing that would otherwise split from fitting insertion. A controlled internal stretching of the semi-rigid tubing occurs at 150 - 350°F. The powerful air cylinder that performs the stretching is operated by a foot pedal. After stretching, a secure fit is formed as the tubing cools and rebounds to its original size.
